It’s hard to think yet about Spring…with the gloomy weather that many of us are experiencing…but the change in season will be here before we know it. Spring is my favorite season as it means the rebirth of all the beauty in my garden; the greening of the marsh and spectacular colors that are blossoming. I enjoy the increasing sunlight, earth’s re-awakening…and walking in my yard with grass under my bare feet.
And I look forward to Holy week and the sense of new beginnings that brings.
As the weather, light and landscaping changes around us…it is also a wonderful time for us to think about our own transformation.
How do we want to move forward?
I just completed my third Magic Menopause program and was so inspired by these beautiful women. Such a supportive tribe, each working hard to inspire and transform themselves as an individual, but also offering healing words of encouragement to those around them. Just wonderful to be a part of.

And while we’re all shaking things up…what a great time to share some of our fav Keto-Alkaline™ shakes submitted by some of our recent Magic Menopause participants.
1 – 1 1/2 c water
1 scoop Keto-Alkaline protein shake mix
4 raw almonds
1 walnut (brain food!)
1 T raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
1 – 1 1/2 T chia, flax and hemp seeds mix (All seeds and nuts soaked and rinsed)
1 t coconut oil
1 large handful of raw baby spinach
1/3 cup cilantro leaves and stems
1 stalk celery, roughly chopped
1 small cucumber
1/4 t curry powder
1/4 t turmeric
1/4 t garam masala
1/4 t coriander
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1 small pinch cayenne pepper
Blend all together. ENJOY.
–Mighty Maca® Plus would be a great addition if you haven’t already had yours, but since I always drink that on arising, I don’t ever add it.
-The amount of spices used will vary with their freshness and personal taste.
-I use less oil because I have added avocado, nuts and seeds.
-1.5 scoops Keto-Alkaline protein shake powder
-2 scoops Mighty Maca Plus
-1-2 T Bulletproof MCT or XCT oil
-1/2 bag organic baby spinach
-1/2 teaspoon Cardamom seeds
Cinnamon to taste
-1/2-1 teaspoon Spirulina
-5-6 ice cubes
-1-2 cups almond milk (or water)
This shake gives you energy, is filling and helps to keep you alkaline!! Yummy!
1 1/2 scoops Keto-Alkaline protein shake mix
2 scoops Mighty Maca Plus
1 tsp Matcha tea powder
1 cup Power Greens.
1 Tbsp Brain Octane or MCT oil
2 tsp ground flax
1/4 c Blueberries
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 cup of Organic Soya milk- for estrogen
2 small cups of Mighty Maca Plus – for alkalinity and greens
1 tbsp Almond butter- for fat
1 scoop of Keto-Alkaline protein shake (I love it) -for proteins
1/2 tsp of ginger- to increase metabolism
1 drop of Clary Cage essential oil – to support the adrenals
1 drop of Ylang Ylang essential oil – balancing hormones
1 drop of Orange essential oil – for energy
2 drop of Vanilla essential oil – for taste
a pinch of cinnamon to stabilize the sugar throughout the day
– add filtered water
