I enjoy “gratitude journaling” in the morning because it starts my day off by highlighting what I am grateful for and allows me to set positive intentions for the rest of the day. I sip my Keto Coffee with breakfast, which is often a green smoothie. I might also take a short walk to feel my body being present with the earth’s natural energy.
Just prior to Thanksgiving, I wrote in my journal about why I’m so thankful for Keto-Green. Wow, it was a long list! Allow me to share my entries with you, with the hope that they inspire you and touch your heart.
Here goes … I’m thankful for Keto-Green because:
-
Keto-Green includes lots of foods you can eat at Thanksgiving dinner.
My mouth waters when I think about my upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. How about you? Planning my menu, I was struck by how much of this coveted meal is actually Keto-Green. For example:
-
Roasted turkey – the centerpiece of holiday dinners. It boasts high-quality protein, B vitamins, selenium, zinc, and phosphorus. It certainly supports various aspects of your health, including the development of body-firming muscle, due to its rich supply of nutrients.
-
Alkaline veggies – the best Thanksgiving side dishes. Examples include green beans, brussels sprouts, and spinach. My favorite is Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus (see page 265 in The Hormone Fix). It serves as an appetizer or side dish that will knock the socks off everyone at your table!
-
Delicious carb swaps. Holiday meals are known for carbs, carbs, and more carbs – like mashed potatoes, rolls, and pies. You can certainly enjoy these in moderation, but if you want to stay Keto-Green at Thanksgiving, you can make some trades that taste delicious. Trade mashed cauliflower for mashed potatoes; sugar-free cranberry sauce for its sugary counterpart; and a low-carb stuffing made from onions, celery, cauliflower, and mushrooms, flavored with garlic, sage, parsley, and rosemary and cooked in bone broth. Finally, make a pumpkin pie with stevia instead of sugar, and bake it in an almond flour crust. There’s a substitute for everything!
I bet you can craft an entire Thanksgiving dinner with less than 20 grams of carbs per meal!

Keto-Green allows for occasional feasting.
Some feasting with your favorite foods exemplifies a sensible and moderate way of eating. You can stick to a fairly strict Keto-Green diet during the week but give yourself some leeway occasionally on a weekend or for a special event like Thanksgiving. If you keep up your exercise program, there’s no way you’re going to regain pounds when you feast like this. You may even lose weight!
-
Keto-Green gives you amazing health benefits.
With my Keto-Green plan, you lose unhealthy pounds (including belly fat) quickly. Weight loss mitigates so many symptoms of menopause, too, from hot flashes (which can come on due to excessive carb intake and insulin resistance) to depression. Beyond that, a Keto-Green lifestyle balances your hormones, improves sleep quality, fights energy drain, boosts your sex drive, and prevents all sorts of diseases by soothing chronic inflammation. If you’re new to Keto-Green, be sure to check out my two books, The Hormone Fix and Keto-Green 16.

Keto-Green produces miracles every day.
Most importantly, I’m thankful for you and every single member of my Keto-Green community. Every day, I read testimonials online about what Keto-Green is doing in the lives of people all over the world.
Some examples: “My husband and I are on day 4. We both feel fantastic! He has lost 6 pounds and I’ve lost 5. We are loving this. This is a miracle for me.”
“Just received the results of my recent blood work. Cholesterol levels have gone from concerningly high, to all within normal levels. Triglycerides have even dropped from 287 to 93! Very happy! Yay health!”
“Keto-Green has allowed me to maintain my weight loss for three months now. Recently, I was on a 9-day vacation in which I ate chocolate cake, wedding cake, wine, and lots of feast food. I came back home and discovered I was down another pound! Keto-Green changes your metabolism so that you are continually in a fat-burning, health-building mode.”
“I’m 51 years old and very excited to report that in one month’s time, I have lost 11 pounds!”
“I am down 25 pounds and at my goal weight!”
“I’m happy to say that I’ve lost 7 pounds, 2 inches off my waist, and 1 ¾ inches from my hips. I’m feeling great, sleeping better, hot flashes have significantly reduced!”
Keto-Greeners, I appreciate you so much. Thank you!
I encourage you to concentrate on all the good in your life – your children, a love letter from your spouse, a home-cooked meal, your strengths, the lessons learned in your weaknesses, the kindness of others, your last adventure, your faith, even a perfect cup of coffee or tea to start your day.
This season, write down all the good in a journal. Just sit quietly and allow yourself to feel the sentiment of gratefulness for all the blessings in life. Journaling replenishes your mind and body with the strength to take care of yourself and others for whom you have responsibility. Research has found that gratefulness journaling reduces blood pressure, improves mood, and boosts focus and productivity. It has become a daily practice for me—and I hope it will for you.
