Is DHEA safe?

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a natural hormone in women’s bodies that leads to the production of important hormones such as androgens and estrogens in the body. Androgens are important to the integrity of skin, muscle, and bone, and also have a role in maintaining libido. They also play a role in providing cardiovascular protection (lower cholesterol) and improving energy levels and mental alertness. My formulation of Julva® is the result of 3 years of extensive research. The combination of quality ingredients produces the best means to benefit the vulvar skin and underlying tissue. Note that information and statements regarding DHEA vulvar creams have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

How is Julva Kiss different from regular lip balm?

Standard lip balms are formulated to coat the surface of the lips and provide temporary moisture relief. Julva Kiss is formulated with DHEA and Alpine Rose Stem Cells — the same core active ingredients in the original Julva vulvar moisturizer — in a castor oil and cocoa butter base that absorbs into lip tissue rather than sitting on top of it. Julva Kiss addresses the hormonal tissue-level changes that cause lips o thin with age, rather than only addressing surface dryness.

Are these products safe for everyone?

Julva Kiss is safe for most women and is not intended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The Julva Feminine Cream component should not be used by women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, currently being treated for or have a history of breast cancer, or who have an active vaginal infection — consult your healthcare provider before use.

Why can't I twist the cap?

The Julva Kiss cap is designed to be pulled straight off, not twisted. Twisting risks unscrewing the applicator inside the cap, which can cause the product to spill. Pull the cap off firmly in a straight motion. Dr. Anna demonstrates this in her how-to video: See Dr. Anna opening her Julva Kiss.

    Really Works!!

    LOVE THIS STUFF. I've been using it for almost two years. I started slowly to let my body adjust. I'm very sensitive to products that include unhealthy inactive ingredients. I've had no issue with this product.

    The benefits: improved pH, more moisture, less friction, reliable tissue response. I also have a clean diet, no caffeine or alcohol ( MM style). Been with the same partner for 46 years.
