What happens if I find Nite-Zzz Caps keeps me awake at night?

Dr Anna’s response: 

“When you begin taking Nite-Zzz Caps, which are designed to be anti-inflammatory and adaptogenic to your body’s needs, there is definitely an adjustment period and the experience will not be the same for everyone.

We are all different so for some of us, 2 capsules may be too much initially, for others it will be perfect. For some people, you may need to start with 1 capsule daily and then you can take 2 or up to 3 as your body adjusts and you find your best sleep rhythm. Nite-Zzz Caps are designed to be restorative - so don’t give up before you find what works best for your body!

I recommend everyone take it continuously for two weeks to give it a chance to adjust to your system and for you to adjust to it as well. Each person is unique and individual but that’s why this adaptogenic formula works so well! 

For some people their bodies need Nite-Zzz Caps earlier in the day/late afternoon if they are having trouble getting to sleep when taking it before bed. However, if you are feeling groggy at bedtime after taking Nite-Zzz, continue taking it then and allow your body to adjust.”

The protocol pairs very well together as each product is unique in its benefits. It reduces cortisol so it stops that dreaded 3am wake up from cortisol and the inability to go back to sleep. 

How much Magnesium can we take?

We can easily take 500 to 2000 mg of magnesium a day. Typically over 300 mg is what Dr Anna recommends but different types of magnesium have different effects. For those concerned about magnesium causing loose stools, none of Dr. Anna’s Beauty Sleep protocol products contain magnesium carbonate so this is not a cause for concern.

Why doesn’t the Maca keep you up at night?

Maca is adaptogenic so will help if cortisol is too high or low. You need to see what is the best time of day that works for you. It also is very helpful with helping with sleep while traveling.

Are there any issues with taking Nite-Zzz Caps and Call it a Nite together?

You can take all of the products together. You can take Nite-Zzz Caps daily and you can use Call it a Nite when needed for shorter periods.

Do you rotate sleep products?

    Finally hacked my sleep!!!!!

    I used to be a great sleeper. Then kids, a job change, the loss of my mother, and perimenopause absolutely ruined my sleep. I’ve tried all the hacks- BHRT, sauna, cold exposure, magnesium, etc. and my Oura ring never gave me higher than a 75. Now I’m getting mid- to high 80’s EVERY night, getting at least an hour of deep sleep and waking up feeling truly recovered. What a blessing these have been- thank you Dr. Anna!!!!

    Better Sleep!
