Does the Keto-Green Shake contain Nightshades?

Keto-Green Shake does contain Astragalus, which is similar to Ashwagandha. You may prefer our Keto-Alkaline Shake which is nightshade free.

How much Caffeine is in the Keto-Green® Shake?

The caffeine comes from the Green Tea and there is approximately 41 mg of Camellia (Sinensis Leaf) (98% Polyphenols/50% EGCG/80% Cat) Extract in the Keto-Green® Protein Shake.

How many grams of sugar are in the shake?

There is 0g of sugar. It is sweetened with Monk Fruit.

Is Mighty Maca Plus an issue for someone with Histamine or Oxalate dietary concerns?

Yes, Mighty Maca may be an issue for someone with Oxalate or Histamine issues.

Oxalates are a naturally-occurring compound in plants and are of course in many green leafy vegetables. These are all good sources of alkaline foods. Many of the ingredients in Mighty Maca Plus do include vegetables, phytonutrients, and greens, there is, of course, the probability that it does include some oxalates.

High histamine foods are in such commonly found foods like avocado, or fermented foods and spinach- which is in Mighty Maca Plus if you react to high histamine foods, you may react to Mighty Maca.

Can Hashimoto’s or thyroid patients use Mighty Maca Plus?

A scoop of Mighty Maca Plus consists of approximately 75 micrograms of iodine. We recommend that our Hashimoto's clients start with half of a scoop and see how your numbers do. We also recommend that for those concerned about adding new supplements to their routine due to health related conditions that they consult with their practitioner before starting.

Can you take Mighty Maca Plus if you currently have or have previously had breast cancer?

There are no contraindicating ingredients in Mighty Maca Menopause Capsules, however, Dr. Anna always recommends women discuss any new prescription or over-the-counter product with their primary care doctor. In the case of women having a previous breast cancer diagnosis and/or treatment, she strongly suggests women always talk with their oncologists. Learn more in our breast health blog.

I just started Mighty Maca plus and feel a lot of detoxification/stomach issues/bloating. What should I do?

The most common "intolerance" to this product is detoxification (this is what makes Mighty Maca so good!) that happens quite quickly when you begin using Mighty Maca. This can cause things like headaches, gas and bloating, digestive issues and just generally feeling badly. If these are your symptoms, just know that detoxification is a GOOD thing, even though it may be uncomfortable during the process. The symptoms usually pass within a few days to a week and a good electrolyte supplement, like LMNT powder or Tri-Salts (both of which Dr. Anna recommends), can help a lot.

If you have a very sensitive digestive system to begin with, adding this product may exasperate it temporarily. Dr. Anna's Mighty Maca is generally well tolerated by most women and contains a number of other helpful ingredients that help with energy, hormone balance, and increased nutrition.

Some people may need to reduce the dosage of Mighty Maca Plus to half or even less and then gradually increase it over time so your body slowly goes through the detox and becomes accustomed to the rich fiber and green healthy gut nutrients. If you are suffering with gut health issues, Dr. Anna highly recommends taking a high quality probiotic like her product, Gut Thrive as well as digestive enzymes—Keto-Green Enzymes.

    I absolutelyvlove this product!

    My favorite protein smoothie mix. I've been using it for two years now and love it.

    I'm one of those people looking for an optimal smoothie recipe. I've never found anything "perfect" because I like to include things like spirulina, collagen, maca, moringa, etc. into mine, but this recipe is the closest thing I've found to perfect. I still doctor it up quite a bit, but it's my ideal base with its pea and pumpkin seed foundation and all of the micronutrients it includes as well as the natural sweetener they use. It's a great formula. My only comment is that you give me a choice of the freebies you ocassionally include in my subscription, because I've received a full-size of a product I don't need/want and I've gotten it TWICE.

    Love This Shake!

    I wasn't sure if I would like a green, chocolate, plant based protein shake, but I was looking for a way to add more protein to my diet and Dr. Anna offered it at a price I couldn't pass up. I figured that if it wasn't good, I would doctor it up and make it palatable. I knew it was healthy and full of benefits. Since I hate most vegetables, it was a good way to get some green in my diet. Well, I had no need to fear! The shake tastes really good. It is good alone, but I like to add it to my left over coffee that has gone cold for an added mocha flavor. I plan to get more when I run out, but I hope to get it in a bulk can instead of individual packets. I don't like the waste of packaging. Thanks Dr. Cabeba!
