We recommend starting with one stick (1/2 stick if your body is not accustomed to high-quality adrenal support and greens or if you're usually sensitive to supplements). As your body detoxes, you can then work your way up to 2 or 3 sticks daily. A stick is approximately 3.6 grams.

Everyone is different so listen to your body and see how you do with it. There is approximately 25 mg of Green Tea Aqueous Extract per serving of Mighty Maca Plus.

Mighty Maca Plus does not contain any sugar. It is flavored with natural ingredients of peppermint and orange with a minute amount of stevia. If you would prefer not to have stevia, you may want to try our Mighty Maca Menopause Capsules which are stevia free.

That is why Mighty Maca and the Alkalizing Detox Beverage you drink first thing in the morning, while you are still fasting. However, if you are consistently alkaline and achieving ketosis, then of course you can leave out the Mighty Maca in your shake when you break fast and see how you do.

The most common "intolerance" to this product is detoxification (this is what makes Mighty Maca so good!) that happens quite quickly when you begin using Mighty Maca. This can cause things like headaches, gas and bloating, digestive issues and just generally feeling badly. If these are your symptoms, just know that detoxification is a GOOD thing, even though it may be uncomfortable during the process. The symptoms usually pass within a few days to a week and a good electrolyte supplement, like LMNT powder or Tri-Salts (both of which Dr. Anna recommends), can help a lot.

If you have a very sensitive digestive system to begin with, adding this product may exasperate it temporarily. Dr. Anna's Mighty Maca is generally well tolerated by most women and contains a number of other helpful ingredients that help with energy, hormone balance, and increased nutrition.

A scoop of Mighty Maca Plus consists of approximately 75 micrograms of iodine. We recommend that our Hashimoto's clients start with half of a scoop and see how your numbers do. Yes, Mighty Maca may be an issue for someone with Oxalate or Histamine issues.

Oxalates are a naturally-occurring compound in plants and are of course in many green leafy vegetables. These are all good sources of alkaline foods. Many of the ingredients in Mighty Maca Plus do include vegetables, phytonutrients, and greens, there is, of course, the probability that it does include some oxalates.

High histamine foods are in such commonly found foods like avocado, or fermented foods and spinach- which is in Mighty Maca Plus if you react to high histamine foods, you may react to Mighty Maca.
