Oh, it is THAT time of year…so much holiday activity starting up! Is it just me, or do you feel like you too are already hopelessly behind?
I have just moved into my family’s new “temporary” home after the flooding of our old home along the coast… So thankful to be far away from the toxic mold and ugliness, and also…very thankful to hear that friends and local community members are all in good health and moving forward.
That is my message at this Thanksgiving time. Be thankful for all you have in your life, deal with your setbacks and just try and continue to move forward.
With politics and mother nature sometimes seemingly trying to take us down, my words to you: Just be thankful for what you have, especially your loved ones. And don’t take them for granted.
And if by some chance you are estranged with a special loved one in your life…try to move forward, with or without them…but with love in your heart. It may have to be self-love at the moment…but continue to move forward.
My family and I wish you the happiest of Thanksgiving holidays. Should you not celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you will still enjoy the beauty of that day…watch a sunset or sunrise….and be appreciative of waking up…
