The Magic Of Having A Menopause Support Group (Behind the Scenes)

I have the privilege of working with amazing women directly in our wildly supportive Magic Menopause group program. We have coaching calls every week, and it's the highlight of my life to listen as women share their stories, struggles, and victories with me. It’s like our own menopause support group.

With over 300+ women participating in our Magic Menopause at the moment, we're continually inspired by their honesty, strength, and discoveries. This month, three recurring insights stood out — each one reminding us that menopause support is about connection, lifestyle shifts, and small wins that make a big difference.

While I lead the group, in many ways, the women inside the program teach me. And in this article, I’m sharing some of the most surprising things I learned from them this month. I know these insights can help you, too.

1. The Healing Power Of Community
1. The Healing Power Of Community

One of the most powerful patterns we noticed this month was just how deeply women value being seen, heard, and understood by others going through the same thing — and the results it helps foster.

In our Magic Menopause support group, women shared how validating it felt to realize they weren’t “crazy” or alone in what they were experiencing — whether it was unpredictable mood swings, night sweats, or sudden waves of anxiety. Many said that just reading someone else’s post made them feel more grounded. Others shared that after months of isolation, being part of a judgment-free space was the turning point in their healing journey.

There’s real science behind this too: emotional safety reduces stress hormones, supports healthy immune function, and could actually ease physical symptoms. We’ve seen women report feeling more rested, making healthier food choices, and staying more consistent with their supplements — simply because they didn’t feel like they had to do it all alone anymore.

Menopause may be a personal journey, but that doesn’t mean it has to be solitary. Connection is medicine, too.

2. Why Small Changes Create Big Shifts In Midlife
2. Why Small Changes Create Big Shifts In Midlife

Feeling stuck in a cycle of fatigue, irritability, and dependence on caffeine to power through the day? I hear this A LOT.

While some women do just fine drinking caffeine in midlife, I’ve found in my practice that women who cut down on or quit caffeine see fantastic results.

That’s because too much caffeine can take a toll on your adrenals. And honestly, the quality of your adrenal health is a direct indicator of your menopause experience. When your ovaries stop or slow down hormone production, your adrenals can serve as a backup generator of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which gets turned into sex hormones.

Which is why I thought it was so cool to see that when several members of our Magic Menopause support group decided to band together and swap their morning coffee for a scoop of Mighty Maca® Plus — because it’s a fantastic adrenal supporter!

3. Sleep Is Non-negotiable For Menopause Wellness
3. Sleep Is Non-negotiable For Menopause Wellness

In our Magic Menopause support group this month, one insight kept surfacing again and again: poor sleep was quietly making every other menopause symptom worse.

Women shared how even just a few nights of interrupted or shallow sleep left them feeling more anxious, more irritable, and less able to cope with cravings or mood swings. Some even noticed that their hot flashes became more intense after a bad night’s sleep — while others said that brain fog, which they had assumed was just “part of menopause,” improved dramatically once they started sleeping better.

The good news? Once they made the connection, they began treating sleep as the priority it truly is. Whether it was creating a wind-down ritual, adding progesterone to their nighttime routine, or using Julva® as part of their nighttime ritual, again — small changes led to meaningful improvements.

Menopause symptoms rarely exist in isolation — and sleep might just be the key that makes everything else feel more manageable.

Connection, Confidence, and Collective Growth

This month, our little menopause support group reminded me of something powerful: the path to relief isn’t just found in pills or protocols — it’s in shared experience, small daily choices, and learning to listen to what your body (and community) is telling you.

Because:

  • Emotional connection can ease physical symptoms and build confidence
  • Small steps, made consistently, are the path to success
  • Sleep has a ripple effect on nearly every aspect of menopause — don’t skimp on it!

If you’ve been navigating this phase alone, consider joining a community like ours when it opens back up again in the fall. Whether it’s through group coaching, shared stories, or trusted supplements, there’s strength in knowing you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
